The company is managed by experienced agricultural professionals, scientists, technologists and former senior officers of the Agriculture Department, Government of Assam. AGR is committed to strengthening Assam's agricultural ecosystem by enhancing productivity, reducing dependence on external inputs and increasing farmers' income.

PRESENT ACTIVITIES OF THE COMPANY:
- Established in 2020: AGR Pioneer Seeds Pvt. Ltd. was founded with the vision of promoting sustainable agriculture, quality seeds, biological inputs, and precision drone technologies.
- Vegetable Seed R&D Centre: Established our own R&D Centre on 1.5 hectares of land at Monakosa, Mornoi, Goalpara, Assam, equipped with seed processing and grading facilities, a 3,000 sq. ft. polyhouse, and micro-irrigation facilities.
- Seed Production Facilities: Operates 15 hectares of seed production facilities (leased/owned land) for seed multiplication in nearby villages with irrigation and modern farming infrastructure.
- Cold Preservation: Houses a 10 MT capacity cold storage room with a dehumidifier for long-term preservation and viability of seeds.
- Bio-Input Production: Operates a dedicated Biofertilizer & Biopesticide Manufacturing Unit at Guwahati.
- Micronutrients & PGR: Operates Micronutrient and Plant Growth Regulators (PGR) production facilities at Goalpara.
- Farmer Capacity Building: Dedicated demonstration fields and training facilities for capacity building and tech dissemination.
- Contract Farming: Seed multiplication programmes for Paddy, Oilseeds (Mustard), and Pulses in collaboration with local farmers and FPOs/FPCs.
- Germplasm Preservation & Hybridization: Inbred development and hybridization projects for Tomato, Pumpkin, and Brinjal (Eggplant), preserving indigenous crop germplasms.
- MoU Collaborations: Strategic agreements signed with ICAR-NRRI (RRLRRS, Gerua) and Assam Agricultural University (AAU), Jorhat for breeders' seeds.
- Drone Spraying Services: Precision agriculture drone-spraying services across commercial crops, fields, and tea gardens.
